The Advanced Placement exams provide an opportunity for learners to demonstrate mastery of the content in specific AP subjects during two weeks in May.

NOTE:
- Payment below is ONLY for the OC Learning Studio location in Costa Mesa. DO NOT PAY through this site if you plan to take the test through a local high school.
- The AP Coordinator will provide an AP course code with instructions for learners to finalize registration on the College Board website. This registration must be completed by November 3, 2023 or the testing spot may be forfeited.
- Learners who qualify in one of these areas may check the box for a fee reduction:
- Free/reduced lunch.
- Enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g., Federal TRIO programs such as Upward Bound).
- Family receives public assistance.
- Learner resides in federally subsidized public housing or a foster home or is unhoused.
- Learner is a ward of the state or an orphan.
- Non-iLEAD learners who require accommodations: please DO NOT PAY until you have contacted our AP/SSD Coordinator, laura.kazan@ileadexploration.org to confirm proctor availability.
iLEAD Hybrid/Exploration Learners (Costa Mesa location only)
- By October 20, 2023 – $98 per exam
- October 21 to March 8, 2024 – $138 ($40 late fee)
Cancellation policy for iLEAD Hybrid learners: Refunds are permitted, but a $40 cancelation fee will be applied for exams canceled before March 8, 2024. No refunds will be provided after March 8, 2024.
Non Hybrid/Exploration Learners
AP exams will be available to a limited number of homeschooled learners for specific exams starting October 21. All non-iLEAD testers must wait to register until October 21. Registration and payment are due by November 3 and will include a $40 fee per exam.
All Exploration exams will be offered at the iLEAD OC Learning Studio or Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa.
- October 21-November 3, 2023 – $138
- November 4 – March 8, 2024 – $138 – Only if space is available
Exam orders for non-iLEAD Hybrid/Exploration learners are due by November 8. There will be no refunds for outside testers who need to cancel.
NOTE: Registration is NOT finalized until the tester enrolls on the College Board website using the join code emailed by our testing coordinator. This registration must be completed by November 8 or the testing spot will be forfeited.
